First Day of School

The first day of school for students will be Tuesday August 30, 2022 beginning at 8:15 A.M. for JR/SR high and elementary. School will be dismissed at 3:05 P.M. for all students TK-12th grade.
New Student
Pre-Registration
Elementary students new to the Pomeroy School District may pre-register at the Elementary School office, located at 121 10th St., starting August 16. Registration time is 8:30 a.m. until noon, and 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Please bring immunization records, birth certificate, child’s social security number, and any other pertinent records.
New Junior-Senior high school students will pre-register with Mr. Fred Knebel in the Guidance/Counseling Office at the Jr/Sr High School August 23, 24 & 25th. Students wishing to change their schedules will need to meet with Mr. Knebel. Registration time is from 9 a.m. until noon, and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Students and/or parents wishing to contact the Counseling Office may make appointments with Mr. Knebel beginning August 23 by calling 843-1331 or 566-7031. He will be available to discuss scheduling, credits, college selections, etc.
